Philosophy about Health & Well-being
"If you give a man a fish you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish you feed him for a lifetime."
----Lao Tzu
Carla's overall philosophy is self-responsibility. She is a "poster child" for her beliefs. She practices what she preaches by eating an alkaline-forming diet, meditating, exercising, and receiving massage and bodywork .

Becoming healthy after a lifetime of poor habits can be challenging, but Carla expresses that it can be done through knowledge, commitment., and support from those who share enthusiasm for vibrant, joyful living. She expresses that we are inseparable from nature and therefore, what our cells require for normal function and self-repair must come from nature, not from processed foods or medications that mask symptoms. A "whole" food, alkaline-forming diet can heal our bodies and our planet.

Carla further believes that humanity's appetite for money and power have skewed its sense of balance and well-being. Lying and cheating are commonplace in a consumption-driven environment. Carla has an inherent desire for justice so the ugliness that is born by greed is offensive to her. She believes in equality and strives to unfold a better way of living and being. She is a lie buster.

Carla believes that Edgar Cayce is the "father" of holistic medicine. His spirit-based health readings promote an alkaline-forming diet, which, if grown in healthy, chemical-free soil, provides us with all the vitamins, minerals, fiber we need. This diet is naturally non-inflammatory; inflammation is recognized by most health experts as being at the root of all dis-ease. In addition, Cayce emphasized exercise and relaxation.

"There is no difficulty that enough love will not conquer; no disease that enough love will not heal; no door that enough love will not open; no gulf that enough love will not bridge; no wall that enough love will not throw down; no sin that enough love will not redeem..."
